April Currently!!

I am LOVING me some SPRING BREAK!!! I have been having fun and relaxing!! AWESOME!!

Even though, I am loving Spring Break, school is still on my mind!! Of course! :) When we get back, we only have 4 weeks before STATE testing! How crazy is that!?! This year has flown by!!

I want to go shopping today, but I need to be Spring cleaning!!! Did I mention I HATE cleaning?

My advice for blogging: KEEP IT FUN! If it starts to be a chore, you have lost the beauty of blogging and sharing your expertise with the bloggy world!!!

Finally, here is a sweet picture of my little LOVE to bring a smile to your face! :)

3D Shape Scavenger Hunt

We have been studying some geometry like crazy the past few weeks in my class! This past Friday, my sweet kiddos did a 3D Shape Scavenger Hunt around our classroom!! I wanted to share some pictures of them working with their partners to find the most 3D shapes in our classroom (cylinders, cubes, and rectangular prisms)! This was a great and easy way for them to learn that 3D shapes are all around us!! They loved it!! We made it a BIG contest!! As you can see in the pictures, they REALLY got into it! :) It was super easy and very effective!

Wordle

This year at my school, we have been learning about all these new and fun websites and apps we can use in the classroom!! Recently, my students wrote some AWESOME research papers on a person from the American Revolution! They LOVED it!! We decided to do a little project on the computer to accompany our research papers when we put them on display! We went to an awesome website called WORDLE!! Wordle is a website where you can create beautiful word clouds!! Now, I realize that many of you probably already know about this fun website, but I just want to brag on my students for the amazing job they did on their Wordles!! Here are some of their Wordles based on their American Revolution figures!
