Back to School Purchases!

After being in my classroom yesterday for the first time, I came home and went on a little shopping spree! This is what I bought: 

Month by Month Phonics & Vocabulary

I LOVE this book! I used it several years ago when I taught 4th grade, but I can't find my old one! SO, I had to order a new one! :) 

Zebra Border!!!

I am so excited about my new classroom theme this year: ZEBRA!!! I couldn't find any zebra border at the local teacher store, so I went online and found this one! I am so excited about putting it up in my room. I am thinking maybe black paper and this border....OR bright colored paper and this border! I bought this from Teacher Storehouse! Go check them out! :) 

Giant Pixy Sticks!!!

I bought these to make Birthday Balloons for my kids! I saw this idea on Tunstall's Teaching Tidbits! Head on over to her blog to check it out! You add a balloon cutout to the top of the pixy stick, and you have a ready made birthday present for your students! I will post a picture of the finished product when I get them in and actually make them! :) 

So there it is, some of my back to school purchases! All of my other purchases have been mainly school supplies for my kids. These purchases are the ones that I am more excited about! :)
