Hello friends!!! I cannot believe it is September already! I am linking up with Farley at Oh' Boy Fourth Grade today to do CURRENTLY! :) So here it is!!!
I absolutely LOVE this month's Currently! It is so colorful and FUN! :)
So, I was looking at my classroom library the other day, and I realized I need some new books!!! I have been browsing on Scholastic for the past few days trying to decide which books to buy! I LOVE the smell of new books!!! :)
Can you believe it is already time to start grading papers again?!? I still can't believe summer is gone. I guess I am in denial, but I seriously need to pick up one of my NEW felt tip pens and get busy! :)
Now for my favorites!!!
1) MY PAPERMATE FELT TIP PENS!!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE these pens!!!
They are AH-MAZING and write so smoothly!!! I grabbed mine at the local Wal-Mart, but they sell them at most office supply stores as well! You should really check them out! They are great for grading papers!
2) MY NEW CLASSROOM SETUP!!!
I think this is the first year that I absolutely LOVE my classroom setup! I am also very proud of everything in it because I MADE almost everything! I will be posting later on today (I know you are only supposed to post once a day, but I am too excited to wait) with LOTS of pictures of the new room!!! :)
3) MY NEW IPAD!!!
Every teacher at my school got a new IPAD to use in the classroom this past week! SO STINKING EXCITING!!! I have been playing around with it, and checking out apps all weekend! I LOVE IT! What are some of your favorite apps that you use in your classroom? I would LOVE some feedback!
Ok, now it is your turn! Head on over to Farley's Oh' Boy Fourth Grade and link up! Just remember the rule of 3!!! :)
HAPPY LABOR DAY!!!
I think I'm going to have to try those papermate pens! I've been hearing A LOT about them!
ReplyDeleteI love my iPad as well!! It comes in handy for the little ones (kindergarten).
Teacher's Assistant, Bluster, and Kids Math Fun are a few that I enjoy. I'm not sure how well they'll work for the upper grades though!
Love your blog design!!!
KrazyKuteKinders
The pens are DEFINITELY worth it! :) I will definitely try those apps out! :) Thanks!
DeleteYour "Currently" reads with such enthusiasm. Love it! I was lucky enough to be a part of an iPad pilot last year and you will LOVE this piece of technology! I wrote a post Here about some apps I like to use (it says iPod but I used them on an iPad).
ReplyDeleteAww thank you! I will definitely check out your post! I need to learn about some apps! Thanks! :)
DeleteHey Lacie- I have a whole blog post on my favorite apps but they are geared more towards K & 1. My suggestion is to download the app AppShopper. It gives you easier browsing than the AppStore AND you can create wishlists. Plus, it will tell you when an app on your wishlist goes on sale or is free, it tells you when to update and gives you better search results. Oh, AND you can access the app on your computer as well. It's free and worth the download! I hope it helps you as much as it helped me!

Fancy Free in Fourth
Thanks Layla! I will definitely be checking out your Flash Sale!!! :)
DeleteI am your newest follower!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you all got an iPad! That is so cool! I have my own that I use every day in the classroom.
These are my favorite apps-
Stick Pick
ClassDojo
For classdojo, you have to sign up on their site and then just save their webpage to your homepage, so it's not really an app, but it's a great website to use on your ipad and iphone. I display it on my SMART Board throughout the day as well and it's FREE. It's for classroom management. You can read how I use it {here}
